Hi! I’m Sarah Nagamine, a junior at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst majoring in Communication Disorders while on a pre-dental track. My dream and aspiration is to become a dentist. In the states, I have had numerous opportunities to shadow dentists, but nothing compares to the opportunities that VAW gave me. Traveling to poverty stricken areas and working in a makeshift clinic setting really adds to the whole experience.
