Hey! My name is Alisha Patel and I am a sophomore at the University of Georgia. I am a pre-dental student and I’m majoring in Mathematics.  I’m so excited to lead the dental outreach chapter at UGA this year as this is an incredible opportunity.  This will be my first time volunteering with VAW, but I know I am prepared to lead this year’s trip. I love the idea of being able to bring beautiful smiles to people who otherwise might not get the care and attention they need. I am passionate about working with children specifically because it is interesting to watch them develop and mature as you mentor them.
