In May of this past summer, our staff and volunteers at our Medical Outreach site in Peru put our vision of providing water filtration systems into action, giving many communities the ability to access more clean water and start living a healthier lifestyle.
Led by USC chapter leaders Max and Natalie, the Medical Outreach chapter at USC did an excellent job seeing this project to fruition. The VAW team partnered with USC Club H2O, and through the collaboration their team was able to bring the filtration systems to Peru from the United States and help facilitate the installation of the systems. Additionally, the chapter educated the communities on how to operate and maintain the filtration systems, ensuring the systems will have a sustainable impact on the communities. We cannot thank the USC team enough for their hard work!

A water station made possible by the USC VAW and USC Club H2O filters and the hard work of the Proyecto Rio Huatanay facilitators. They have clean water stations set up for workers throughout the work sites.
As our new 2015-2016 season gets underway, we are excited to expand our projects in each of our sites and continue to progress as an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in communities around the world.
